Serving homeowners throughout Orange County since 1985 — Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Winter Garden, Apopka, and beyond. State Licensed • A+ BBB • Never Subcontracts.
Orange County is where Tile Roof Specialists, Inc. first put ladders on roofs back in 1985. Our very first jobs were in South Orlando and the historic districts near downtown — Cherokee, Lake Adair, Lake Davis, Rose Isle, and the beautiful streets around Lake Ivanhoe. Over four decades we have worked our way outward from the heart of the city into every corner of Orange County — from the grand estates of Winter Park and Palmer Avenue to the gated communities of Windermere and Isleworth, to Bay Hill, Dr. Phillips, Lake Nona, Winter Garden, and beyond.
We have worked on original 1930s tile roofs in Winter Park that are still performing beautifully today. We have repaired roofs on some of the most architecturally significant homes in Central Florida — Spanish Mission, Mediterranean Revival, historic bungalows and modern estate homes. Orange County is where we learned our trade and where our reputation was built — one satisfied homeowner at a time.
When you call us for an Orange County tile roof repair, you are not getting a stranger. You are getting two people who have spent their careers on the roofs of this county and know its homes, its weather patterns, and its neighborhoods as well as anyone.
Orange County has a remarkable variety of tile roofs — from 1920s and 1930s original clay tile in Winter Park and the historic districts of Orlando, to the concrete tile roofs that dominate the planned communities built in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s in Windermere, Winter Garden, Apopka, and Lake Nona.
The most common tile roof problems we see throughout Orange County are: failed underlayment at valleys and around penetrations, cracked or slipped tiles from hurricane-force winds, failed hip and ridge mortar, and leaks around chimneys and skylights. Florida’s intense UV exposure and daily afternoon rain cycle in summer accelerate underlayment wear, which is why regular inspection matters.
We never recommend replacement unless it is genuinely necessary. In most Orange County homes the tiles themselves are in good condition — it is the underlayment beneath them that needs attention. A targeted repair almost always solves the problem at a fraction of the cost of a new roof.
“Dear Steve & Marshall, we made it through weeks of rain without a leak! After three other attempts by two local roofers, Tile Roof Specialists fixed the five leaks plaguing the home we bought just one year ago. You told me — and I do believe — ‘I never have to replace the roof because of leaks. We will find them and keep your roof intact.’ I will call you again, knowing that you can fix what leaks and save me thousands of dollars by not having to replace my tile roof. Thanks for your professionalism.”
